Taste of COLORS was a sensory-rich journey curated by Chef Lemar Farrington and Taste of BLK—a five-course dinner experience where each dish was inspired by the emotion and rhythm of carefully selected COLORS music tracks. Each course was paired with a live performance bringing the flavor of each dish to life with a live set.
Hosted in the lush, art-deco-inspired garden of The Artist Lounge Raleigh, this experience celebrated global Black artistry through cuisine, music, and visual storytelling. From live painting to floral touches, every detail invited guests to slow down and savor the beauty of culture expressed in color.

A Living Canvas — guests were invited to show up as walking works of art—styled in hues that reflect the richness and vibrancy of our culture. Embracing the theme by wearing one monochromatic color or blend multiple shades together, just like strokes on a canvas. Their palette could be bold, soft, or unexpected—as long as it draws from the radiant energy of summer reds, oranges, yellows, and greens.

The night began with Petals & Palates—a sensory wine and floral experience presented by Just Bloom It and HERitage Wines—followed by a curated swag bag featuring Black-owned products, access to a floral bouquet station, and a private wine tasting. All of it unfolded within an atmosphere where color, culture, and creativity beautifully converged.
